Rathbones OV's and Odey ORs have won through to the final of the Channel Island Cricket League after wins on Saturday.

Odey ORs beat Farmers-Caesareans by 31 runs in a low-scoring semi at KGV, despite Charles Perchard taking 5-12 for Farmers.

In the other semi-final teenager Corey Bisson (80) helped the Old Victorians reach 245-8 against Aztec Springfield.

Paul McCafferty's 45 was not enough as Springfield were bowled out for 198.

OV's captain Peter Gough told BBC Radio Jersey: "We were in a difficult spot to start with, we lost two wickets in the first over.

"But I'm really happy with the lads who batted at four, five, six, seven and eight - they batted superbly.

"Corey Bisson batted brilliantly because we were in a bit of trouble there."

The final in Jersey is scheduled for Saturday 27 August.
