England complete India series whitewash at The Oval

England carved through India on the final day to win the fourth Test at The Oval and complete a series whitewash.

The home side dismissed India for 283 to seal victory by an innings and eight runs after denying Sachin Tendulkar his 100th international century.

Tendulkar fell for 91 as India lost seven wickets for 21 runs after lunch as Graeme Swann took 6-106.

Resuming on 129-3, Tendulkar and Amit Mishra (84) added 144 but Mishra's wicket sparked India's dismal collapse.
