Glamorgan have given new deals to 24-year-old spin-bowling all-rounders Mike O'Shea and Nick James.

O'Shea has extended his stay until the summer of 2012, while James has signed a two-year contract.

Both players came into the limited overs side in the second half of the summer, while James is currently also in the County Championship team.

"They are seen as part of the long term planning for the club," said Glamorgan managing director Colin Metson.

"We look forward to more contributions from them in the First XI next year.

"Both players offer both batting and bowling options, as well as being exceptional fielders, and we are delighted they have committed themselves to the Club."

James, who joined last year from Warwickshire, this season recorded Glamorgan's second highest individual innings in a 2nd XI Championship match, making 234 against Hampshire at the Rose Bowl Nursery.

O'Shea rejoined Glamorgan earlier in 2011 after making his first class debut for the county at the age of 17.
