A six-wicket haul from youngster David Payne has put Gloucestershire in a commanding position after three days against Leicestershire.
The visitors, who resumed on 131-6, were all out for 135 as the 20-year-old took a career-best 6-26.
Leicestershire made a fight of it following-on before bad light brought a premature end to proceedings.
James Taylor (70) and Ned Eckersley (52no) saw them to 255-4 at stumps, still trailing by four runs.
