Jersey beat the Royal Malaysian Air Force by 129 runs in their final warm-up match ahead of the ICC World Cricket League Division Six tournament.

A partnership of 112 between Dean Morrison (64) and Ben Stevens (56) helped Jersey make 218-7 in 38 overs.

In reply the Air Force was restricted to 89-8, with Tom Minty taking 2 for 29 and Anthony Kay 2 for 32.

Jersey begin their World Division Six campaign in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday against old rivals Guernsey.

"Today's match has completed a good acclimatisation and match programme for the squad," said coach Craig Hogan.

"I think we've done all we can to get ready for the tournament.

"It's great for our blokes to spend time batting and bowling in these conditions," he added.
