Leicestershire wicketkeeper Paul Nixon says his side have no fear going into the Champions League Twenty20 tournament in India this week.

The Foxes begin their campaign with a match against Trinidad and Tobago on Tuesday morning (1130 BST).

Nixon, 40, told BBC Radio Leicester: "We have no fear and that's when we are at our best.

"This team is the most balanced we have ever had in Twenty20 cricket in my career at Leicestershire, no question."

Leicestershire secured their Champions League place by reaching the final of the domestic FL t20 - a tournament they went on to win with an 18-run victory over Somerset, who also take part in the international competition.

Nixon added: "We have as good a chance as anybody. We are full of confidence. We know our games and we've got good plans.

"It is exciting and we have a little bit of magic. We have the X-factor with Abdul Razzaq and we are all up for it.

"We are representing England in India with Somerset."
