Whitticase led his side to domestic T20 success this season

Leicestershire head coach Phil Whitticase says the club's participation in the Champions League T20 was an "amazing" experience.

The FL t20 winners lost both group matches in India and bowed out of the tournament at the first stage.

Head coach Phil Whitticase told BBC Radio Leicester: "Our players are very disappointed. It was an amazing tournament to be involved in.

"We had visions of testing ourselves against the world's best players."

The Foxes before falling to a on Wednesday.

"We played good T20 cricket, we deserved to be here and we will learn from the two games we played," Whitticase added.
