Nottinghamshire hope to install second replay screen

Trent Bridge

Nottinghamshire have unveiled plans to install an additional permanent replay screen in time for the 2013 Ashes Test.

Venues must have two replay screens for internationals and Notts currently use a temporary second screen when Trent Bridge hosts international matches.

If approved, the new £1.5m screen would form part of the planned redevelopment of the William Clarke Stand.

It would also house a base for ground staff and a hospitality suite and Notts hope work will begin in September.

The second screen will mean that every supporter has sight of an electronic scoreboard and video content, and would replace the existing manual scoreboard in the corner of the ground between the Radcliffe Road and Fox Road Stands.
