Derbyshire have signed experienced Pakistan seamer Rana Naved-ul-Hasan for this season's Twenty20 campaign.
Naved, who has had spells at Sussex and Yorkshire, played 74 one-day internationals and nine Tests.
The 33-year-old also topped the wicket-taking list in Australia's recent Big Bash League for Hobart Hurricanes.
Head coach Karl Krikken said: "He is a world-class bowler with vast experience and immense quality and has tremendous striking ability with the bat."
Naved will also be able to deputise for Derbyshire's other overseas signing, Usman Khawaja, in the Championship and 40-over competition should the batsman be required by Australia.
Krikken added: "We wanted our second overseas player for the Friends Life t20 competition to be a game-changer and a match-winner.
"Rana's performances throughout his career and in particular during the recent Twenty20 Big Bash demonstrate that we have ticked those boxes with this signing."
