Cornwall progress to MCCA Trophy quarter-finals

Cornwall are through to the quarter-finals of the MCCA Trophy after a three-wicket win at Hertfordshire.
Hertfordshire scored 243-4 as Eddie Ballard made 52 and Cornish skipper Tom Sharp took 2-34.
Sharp top-scored with 62 in reply while David Roberts (56) and Matthew Robins (59) put on 127 for the first wicket.
Sharp and Chris Hunkin put on 51 for the fifth wicket before Taylor Williams and Alex Smeeth edged Cornwall home with a ball to spare in the final over.
The win also ensures that the Duchy top Group One of the MCCA Trophy tournament as they look for their first piece of silverware.
