Half centuries from Steve Davies and Zander de Bruyn drove Surrey to a convincing Clydesdale Bank 40win over Glamorgan at the Swalec Stadium.
The visitors reached 173-9 as Davies hit 58 and de Bruyn 52.
Martin van Jaarsveld fell lbw to Jon Lewis for 10 runs on his Glamorgan bow.
Jim Allenby (28) was the hosts' top scorer with Gareth Rees (12) and Chris Cooke (11) also notching double figures before rain brought the Duckworth-Lewis method into play.
Defeat left Glamorgan still looking for their first win of the season.
