Glamorgan have now lost more than 900 overs of Championship cricket to rain this summer following a washout on day two of their game against Yorkshire.
Overnight and morning rain left the outfield soaked at Colwyn Bay, with Glamorgan waiting to resume on 117-3.
Umpires Mark Benson and Paul Baldwin only waited until 13:15 BST before calling off play for the day.
A poor forecast means Glamorgan's no-play total could climb towards 1,000 overs on the third day.
