Cornwall beat Cheshire by 105 runs to stay top of league

Cornwall kept their lead at the top of the MCCA Championship Western Division with a 105-run victory over Cheshire.

Taylor Williams added 14 to his overnight total as he ended the day 125 not out as Cornwall declared on 346-8.

Cornwall's bowlers performed well, bowling out Cheshire for 257 as Ross Dixon made 63.

Skipper Tom Sharp shone with the ball as he took 4-87, while Sam Hockin took 3-83 to add to the seven wickets he took in the first innings.

Cornwall are now eight points clear of Dorset at the top of the Western Division with games against Oxfordshire and Wales still to come.
