Werrington are favourites to win the Cornwall Premier League after brushing aside Falmouth at Ladycross.
Werrington need just seven points from their last game against Camborne on Saturday to take the title for the first time in their history.
The visitors opted to bat first and were bowled out for just 48 as Werrington completed a 10-wicket win.
The damage was done by Cornwall opening bowlers Alex Smeeth and Sam Hockin, who both returned figures of 5-19.
"Saturday's result was so important to us," skipper Ben Smeeth told BBC Radio Cornwall.
"But it was always in our hands really. We needed 30 points from the two games.
"As long as it's not rained off we're pretty confident we can get the seven points we need."
