England spinner Graeme Swann has been handed a benefit year by Nottinghamshire in the 2013 season.
The 33-year-old joined the club in 2005 and has become a key part of the England team in all forms of the game.
Swann has taken taken 192 wickets in 46 Tests for his country and has also taken 67 wickets from 156 first-class appearances for Notts.
"Next year will be a busy year with the Ashes defence on English soil and the Champions Trophy," Swann said.
"I'm honoured that the Notts committee have seen fit to reward me with a benefit year.
"I know that I can count on the support of my team-mates and friends in the game and my plan is to have a series of small events for cricket supporters to enjoy."
