Amazing how the NZ bowlers were getting the Kookaburra to swing, someone pick Ian Botham up and throw him into the river.
I wasn't entirely convinced about the decision not to enforce the follow on.....what was that with Rutherford ? They need to put on 300 more NZ and bat till the end of the day tomorrow....so take it easy Kiwis.Take a deep breath and play patiently.
seems to be english arrogance comes thru people hiding behind computers.i was in nz for part of tour & 1st test. fans were great fun. no arrogance in sight. down to earth people.england are over rated, but will get the boost prior to ashes with nz @ home.all this rubbish about flat tracks etc..if it werent for rain we would have a result in 1st & 2nd tests.nz arent that bad & eng arent that good
Matt Prior should be promoted up the order. His form is better than a lot of them who are above him. Also he should be 1st choice wicketkeeper in all formats of the game. Not just Test Cricket.
All I want to know is what did Southee have from breakfast this morning.....good Lord man....whatever it was.....I take full credit - as I commented several times that Southee needs to take more wickets....hence psychologically impacting the young man and spurring him towards improvement.
All your comments are just going on about why England cricket supporters are hated , now your just acting like the English supporters you keep going on about with your childish insults , so as a child it's time I went to bed , that's the English sense of humour
I said I dislike SOME (not all) England supporters and their arrogance. I never once said I didn't like or respect the country. if you are going to attempt to have a go at me, at least have the courtesy to read what I type and if there are words you don't understand, go and look them up, or ask an adult what they mean.
Remind again why you live here as we are hated so much ! Are you like all the other waifs and strays we have to put up with ?
And you mentioned the Scots? Not sure how they would get into cricket discussion at test level. But, taking your point, that still leaves South Africa and Australia.
I think you're confusing cricket supporters to football supporters ,that's what this is about .
Just us and the Scots? What about the Welsh, French, Irish, South African, Australian?
GOLDEN words Paul Underwood. respect to you
@145 it seems just you and the scots , but as I stated earlier about the amount of English supporters there watching and at least turning up to watch there team unlike you NZ supporters
@144 - Again, I have no problem with expecting a win, I have a problem with the lame excuses used and the failure of MANY (not all) England supporters to even acknowledge there was another team playing. And in every session we have won in the series, there has been an excuse, never acceptance we may have played well, THAT is what makes England supporters disliked around the World
142@Fair point, but most people were predicting a comfortable England win, even most NZ fans. England have not played anywhere near their best, but you have to credit BM for some excellent forward thinking captaincy. I think the loss of Swan has affected us, but still, one player doesn't make a team.
@141 And yes, I was number 7 congratulating England on beating AB's at rugby on 1st December, it was a deserved victory by a team who outplayed us.
You should read back through the comments made by many England supporters before during and after the ODI's and T20's. All along the lines of, 'you may have a chance in this, but when it comes to the tests, we will thrash you 3-0'. Go back and look at the threads
Who was saying 3 -0 ? as your weather is similar to ours , to predict any result is impossible , also if NZ were not doing well & England struggling , would you 139 be on here , I think not !
