Jersey Premier League: Farmers and Old Victorians pick up wins


Farmers-Caesareans and Old Victorians both picked up wins in the Jersey Premier League on Saturday.

Farmers beat Aztec Springfield by 89 runs, with Rhys Palmer recording 6-26 to set up the victory.

Meanwhile, all-rounder Tom Minty shone with both bat and ball as Old Victorians overcame IWSCF 1 by 75 runs.

Minty scored 83 in his side's 213 all out, before taking 5-27 to reduce IWSCF 1 to 138 all out, 10.1 overs short of their allocation.
