Andre Russell's knock stalled Somerset's impending qualification for the FLt20 quarter-finals as Worcestershire won by five wickets.
The hosts ended a run of three straight defeats to climb off the bottom of their group, easing past their 189 target with two deliveries to spare.
Russell hit six sixes in an unbeaten 77 from 42 balls, while Ross Whiteley added 43 on his debut.
Craig Kieswetter notched 80 for Somerset, who stay second in the group.
