Gordon Muchall's brutal 66 not out kept Durham's hopes of qualifying for the FLt20 quarter-finals alive as they beat Derbyshire by 37 runs.
Muchall's 36-ball knock, his best in T20 cricket, plus 47 from Mark Stoneman helped Durham to 187-3 from 20 overs.
Dan Redfern (43) battled for Derbyshire but they were bowled out for 150.
Durham will qualify for the last eight as one of the best third-placed teams if Glamorgan fail to win against Gloucestershire in Cardiff on Tuesday.
However, if Glamorgan are victorious and there is a result in the match between Warwickshire and Somerset at Edgbaston, Durham can still qualify if Essex and Middlesex both lose on Wednesday.
