Opening batsman Mark Cosgrove keen on Glamorgan return
Former Glamorgan opener Mark Cosgrove says he would love to play for the county again.
Cricket Australia has changed its rules on registration, allowing players to compete in two countries as home-grown.
Cosgrove holds a UK passport and could now play for Glamorgan without endangering his status in Australia, where he plays first-class cricket for Tasmania and T20 for Sydney Thunder.
"I loved my time at Glamorgan and the lads were great," said the 29-year-old.
"I'd definitely love to get back there. The next couple of days or weeks are going to be interesting.
"They [Glamorgan] have got my phone number so I'll leave it up to them."
The left-hander played in several spells for Glamorgan between 2006 and 2011, averaging 52.27 runs in first-class cricket and 27.52 in Twenty20 competition.
