Star bowler Michael Hogan returns for Glamorgan against Kent

Michael Hogan returns to the Glamorgan side for their County Championship match with Kent which starts in Cardiff on Tuesday.

The Australian bowler was rested for the Welsh county's defeat by an innings at 25 runs against Northamptonshire.

With 55 wickets at an average of 20,27 this season, Hogan's return will add bite to the Glamorgan bowling attack.

Promising all-rounder Ruadhri Smith is also included in the squad, but Graham Wagg is rested.

The four-day match marks the start of a big week for Glamorgan as they prepare for their YB40 semi-final against the Hampshire Royals at the Ageas Bowl on Saturday.

Squad: WD Bragg, GP Rees, MW Goodwin, CB Cooke, BJ Wright, J Allenby, MA Wallace, RAJ Smith, AG Salter, DA Cosker, MG Hogan and MT Reed.
