Guernsey's cricketers cruise to eight-wicket MCC victory

Guernsey cruised to an eight-wicket win over the MCC in their Twenty20 match at the KGV on Tuesday.

Jeremy Frith took three wickets for 17 runs as the Sarnians restricted their opponents to 106-9 off their 20 overs.

Frith (19 not out) then partnered Ollie Newey (49no) as they put on 65 for the third wicket to reach their target in just under 17 overs.

The victory was Guernsey's first since they in a World Cricket League warm-up match on 5 March.

Since then they have been and were earlier this month.
