|Nottinghamshire Outlaws 206-5 (20ovs) beat Derbyshire Falcons 179-7 (20ovs)|
Riki Wessels smashed an unbeaten 95 as Nottinghamshire beat Derbyshire by 27 runs at Trent Bridge to ease to their second T20 Blast win in as many days.
Wessels, who made 66 at Leicestershire on Thursday, hit 10 fours and four sixes off 51 balls, while Steven Mullaney blasted 24 from nine balls.
In reply to Notts' 206-5, Derbyshire slipped to 57-3 in the ninth over.
Wayne Madsen (65) and Gareth Cross (54) did their best to keep up with the run rate, but they fell short on 179-7.
The pair put on 103 for the fourth wicket in 53 balls, but Cross fell to Luke Fletcher (2-29) in the 18th over and Harry Gurney (1-23) accounted for Madsen 10 balls later.
It completed a remarkable week for Wessels, who gained his county cap last Saturday, scored 71 and 74 not out in Nottinghamshire's six-wicket Championship victory over Middlesex, before the two T20 half-centuries in two days.
He did though fall one short of equalling the county's highest-ever T20 score of 96, set by Michael Lumb against Durham last year.
Notts move up to fourth in the North Group but Derbyshire remain bottom, without a win in the competition in seven matches this season.
