Broad takes hat-trick for England

Stuart Broad took a hat-trick for England on the first day of the second Test against Sri Lanka at Headingley.
Broad dismissed top-scorer Kumar Sangakkara for 79 with the final ball of the 63rd over.
The 27-year-old seamer removed Dinesh Chandimal and Shaminda Eranga with the first two balls of his next to reduce Sri Lanka to 229-9.
The players were unaware of the hat-trick until news was relayed on the public address system.
