The South Group's bottom sides Middlesex and Gloucestershire shared the points as their T20 Blast match was curtailed by rain.

Teenage seamer Harry Podmore had taken three Gloucestershire wickets, including top-scorer Benny Howell (39), as the visitors limped to 105-6.

But Middlesex were denied the chance to chase a very achievable target when a downpour started between innings.

Despite the rain halting, the umpires called it off at 20:55 BST.

It means Middlesex remain rooted to the bottom of the table on three points, with their opponents just a point above.
