Glamorgan have recalled Murray Goodwin to their squad for the T20 Blast match against Middlesex at Richmond on Thursday.

The batsman, 41, is called up after West Indian all-rounder Darren Sammy departed while Graham Wagg is injured.

The Welsh county have slipped to fifth in South Group, but coach Toby Radford believes they can still qualify for the knockout stages.

"As long as we keep improving as a club we'll be pushing for honours," he said.

Thursday's opponents are lying bottom of the table having registered one win in eight games.

Glamorgan go into the match off the back of a heavy defeat by Worcestershire in the County Championship.

But Radford insists the 249-run defeat will have no impact on their T20 form.

"There's absolutely no reason why it should have any effect. We have to accept as a team that we can't win every match we play," he added.

Glamorgan squad: J Allenby (capt), JA Rudolph, MA Wallace (wkt), SJ Walters, CB Cooke, BJ Wright, WD Bragg, MW Goodwin, AG Salter, WT Owen, RAJ Smith, DA Cosker and MG Hogan.
