|Bears v Lancashire: Match abandoned without a ball bowled|
|Bears 1pt, Lancashire 1pt|
Andrew Flintoff's potential return to Twenty20 cricket was cancelled by the weather as rain completely washed out Lancashire's trip to Edgbaston.
The 36-year-old former England star, who quit the sport in 2010, was named in Lancashire's 13-man squad for the match against Birmingham Bears.
He is expected to remain in the squad for Sunday's T20 Blast North Group game with Worcestershire (15:30 BST).
Lancashire's trip to New Road will be a meeting of the top two in the group.
Flintoff, who made seven appearances for England in T20 internationals, last made a domestic Twenty20 appearance five years ago - hitting six sixes and nine fours in an innings of 93 off 41 balls at Derbyshire.
