Gloucestershire and Lancashire had to settle for a point each after their One-Day Cup match was abandoned without a ball being bowled.

Persistent rain forced an early lunch to be taken at 12:00 BST, before a pitch inspection at 14:30 BST saw the game called off.

With two matches left Gloucestershire moved level on points with second-placed Essex, with eight points.

Lancashire remain rooted to the bottom of Group A with three points.
