Gloucestershire ended the Division Two season by wrapping up a comfortable 244-run win over Kent at Canterbury.
Alex Gidman's century on Thursday had left the hosts needing 448 to win.
Sam Northeast (62) and Darren Stevens (47) offered some resistance with a fifth-wicket stand of 98, but both fell during the fourth morning.
Kent skipper Northeast was one of three second-innings scalps for Liam Norwell (3-72), while Tom Smith took 4-35 as the home side were all out for 203.
Left-arm spinner Smith claimed the wicket of James Tredwell to complete victory and register career-best figures.
Gloucestershire's victory was enough for them to leapfrog Glamorgan into seventh place in the table, eight points behind Kent, who end the campaign in sixth.
