Jake Libby: Nottinghamshire opener suffers knee injury

Notts' Jake Libby, along with Charlie Shreck, is one of very few Cornish players to turn professional

Nottinghamshire opener Jake Libby will be out until at least the end of June after suffering knee ligament damage playing club cricket in Australia.

The 21-year-old Cornishman scored an unbeaten 225 on his second XI debut for Notts against Warwickshire last July.

In September, he was handed a two-year professional contract with the club.

Libby ended the summer by in a heavy loss to Sussex at Trent Bridge, Notts' final Championship game of the season.
