BBC Sport - James Anderson thankful after breaking Sir Ian Botham record

Anderson thankful record talk is over

James Anderson said he is "thankful" to have surpassed Sir Ian Botham as England's highest Test wicket-taker so that "people can stop talking about it".

Anderson took his 384th dismissal in his 100th match against the West Indies in Antigua.

BBC Radio 5 live will broadcast a special tribute programme, Jimmy Anderson: The Wicket Man, at 20:30 BST on Sunday, 19 April.
