Worcestershire enjoyed a good warm-up for this year's T20 Blast by easing to a 36-run win over neighbours Shropshire in front of a good crowd at Bridgnorth.
Captain Daryl Mitchell led the way with an unbeaten 94 as Worcestershire scored 236-2 from their 20 overs.
Shropshire replied with 200-6, thanks to half centuries from Ed Barnard, one of the visitors' contingent of five ex-Shropshire players, and Ross Aucott.
Jack Shantry, also playing for his old county, hit 20 off the final over.
Joe Leach and Joe Clarke also made one-off appearances for Shropshire side, while ex-Shropshire captain Richard Oliver hit 48 against his former county.
The bulk of Worcestershire's total came from a second-wicket stand of 149 between Mitchell and Tom Kohler-Cadmore (80).
Worcestershire start their T20 Blast campaign against reigning champions Birmingham Bears at Edgbaston on Friday (18:30 BST), while Shropshire's next date is the inaugural Unicorns Twenty20 against Oxfordshire on 31 May.
