Batsman Chris Cooke is back for Glamorgan's County Championship Division Two game at Essex starting on Sunday following a family bereavement.

He missed Friday's T20 Blast defeat by Sussex, having returned to his native South Africa following the news.

"Having Chris Cooke come back to the group is a positive for us," said head coach Toby Radford.

Cooke's team-mates wore black armbands during last week's draw with Derbyshire as a gesture of support.

Glamorgan are unbeaten in the Championship, with four wins and five draws from their first nine Division Two games, and go to Chelmsford hoping to do the double over James Foster's team.
