Cobo Tigers win Guernsey's Bataille Trophy Twenty20

Guernsey batsmen Zak Damarell was agonisingly close to a century for Cobo

Zak Damarell hit an impressive 99 not out as Cobo Tigers beat Miton Optimal by eight wickets to win Guernsey's Bataille Trophy Twenty20 tournament.

David Hooper scored 49 for Miton as they made 163-7 before Damarell's score led his side to their target with just under two overs to spare.

Damarell would have scored a century but Miton bowled a no-ball with the final ball of the game.

Cobo beat Rovers in the semi-finals while Miton had seen off Wanderers.
