Wicketkeeper John Simpson has signed a contract extension with Middlesex that keeps him at the club until the end of the 2017 season.
The 27-year-old made his debut for Middlesex in 2009 and has since played 195 matches across all formats, scoring 3,714 first-class runs.
Simpson told the club website: "I am delighted to have signed a new deal with Middlesex.
"To be contributing in all forms of the game for Middlesex is important to me."
Middlesex managing director of cricket Angus Fraser added: "John has established himself as one of the best wicketkeepers in the country.
"Everybody at Middlesex is looking forward to continuing to work with John and to help his game develop further."
