|Nottinghamshire won by four wickets|
Notts continued their impressive One-Day Cup form with a four-wicket win over Lancashire at Aigburth.
The Red Rose county could only muster 216-8 despite 77 by Karl Brown, as spinner Samit Patel claimed 3-31.
But Lancashire were well in the game as paceman Gavin Griffiths (3-41) took three wickets with the new ball.
James Taylor's 56 steadied the visitors before Chris Read (47) and Brett Hutton (33) saw them to 217-6 in the 47th over with an unbroken stand of 71.
Lancashire lost Ashwell Prince for five in only the sixth over of their innings and despite Brown and Steven Croft (38) adding 66 for the fourth wicket, they lost wickets at regular intervals.
Griffiths did his best to revive their hopes in a five-over spell of 3-20 at the start of the Notts reply, which included a magnificent caught and bowled to send Alex Hales on his way for 32.
Taylor played well until he was stumped off Arron Lilley (2-57), but Read and Hutton were equal to the task from that point on as Notts recorded their fourth win in five games, with 20 balls remaining.
