Guernsey have named two 17-year-olds in their squad for the World Cricket league Division Six tournament.

Teenagers Tom Nightingale and Will Fazakerley, who play for Sussex Premier League side Billingshurst, are set to make their debuts for the senior side.

Guernsey are hoping to gain promotion from the bottom tier of the World Cricket League when they play in the tournament in Essex next month.

Guernsey are in a group with Botswana, Suriname and Fiji.

If they make the final of the event they will gain promotion to World Cricket League Division Five, from which they were relegated last summer.

The island won Division Six when they were last at that level in 2011.

Guernsey squad: Jamie Nussbaumer (capt), Dave Hooper, Tim Ravenscroft, Ben Ferbrache, Ollie Newey, Ollie Nightingale, Tom Nightingale, Lucas Barker, James Wilkes-Green, Will Fazakerley, Jason Martin, Matt Stokes, Max Ellis and Jordon Martel.
