Guernsey began their warm-up games for next month's World Cricket League Division Six tournament with an 83-run win over a Northern Universities Select side in Gateshead.
Ben Ferbrache hit 75 not out while Dave Hooper struck 55 as Guernsey made 220-6, having recovered after being 64-4 at one point in the innings.
In reply the islanders bowled out their opponents for just 137.
Teenager Matt Stokes starred for Guernsey with the ball taking 3-27.
Ollie Newey, Will Fazakerly and Max Ellis each took two wickets for the islanders, who are hoping to gain promotion from the bottom tier of the World Cricket League when they play in the tournament in Essex next month.
