Minor Counties Trophy: Cornwall to strengthen for 2016

Cornwall celebrate
Cornwall's victory over Northumberland was only their second-ever trophy win

Cornwall captain Matt Robins says his side are already looking to strengthen for next year as they aim to defend their Minor Counties one-day title.

The Duchy beat Northumberland to win the Unicorns Trophy for the first time.

"We've had lot of potential, especially in this competition, but we've never really fulfilled it," Robins said.

"Hopefully we can really kick on now and we're already looking for next year and who we're going to sign and where we're going to go for next year."

Their seven-wicket victory over Northumberland at Wormsley was just the second title in the county's history following the 2012 Minor Counties Championship.
