Leicestershire bowler Rob Taylor took three wickets in as many overs to help pin back Gloucestershire on day three at Grace Road.

Taylor started his fine spell with the ball as he removed Peter Handscomb, who hit a useful 53 to boost the visitors.

Seamer Taylor then trapped Chris Dent (73) and then Hamish Marshall lbw.

Fast bowlers Clint McKay and Ben Raine finished with two wickets apiece as the visitors closed the day on 249-8, still 166 runs behind Leicestershire.

A good day for the home side's bowlers began slowly, with Handscomb and Dent putting on 120 runs for the third wicket before Taylor had Handscomb caught.

Kieran Noema-Barnett scored 27 late on but they suffered further setbacks, losing Jack Taylor and James Fuller before bad light stopped play.
