Nottinghamshire bowlers Jake Ball and Brett Hutton have signed new contracts.

Ball, 24, who has made 32 appearances in all competitions this season, has signed a three-year deal.

And 22-year-old Hutton, a regular in the four-day side in the second half of 2015, has signed a two-year contract with the Trent Bridge side.

"It has been terrific to see two locally produced young cricketers come through," director of cricket Mick Newell told the club website.external-link

"Jake has had a fantastic campaign, starting with his performances during pre-season when he was our best bowler, and he has continued to become a leading performer in all formats.

"Brett has had a big impact on the four-day side, as well as demonstrating that he's a promising all-rounder for white-ball cricket as well."
