Derbyshire: Tom Knight and Harry White sign new contracts

Tom Knight played one Championship game for Derbyshire last season, scoring 39 runs in two innings.

Academy players Tom Knight and Harry White have signed one-year contracts with Derbyshire.

Batsman Knight, 22, played nine T20 Blast games for the Division Two side last term and once in the Championship.

Pace bowler White, 20, made his first-class debut against Australia in a tour match, taking 2-85 in 19 overs.

Elite performance director Graeme Welch said: "The new contracts will give them a good opportunity to show what they can do in competitive situations."
