Ireland lost by eight wickets to Bangladesh in their final Women's World Twenty20 warm-up game at Chinnaswamy.

Ireland made 74-9 off their 20 overs, with Laura Delany scoring 17 and captain Isobel Joyce 16. Rumana Ahmed ended with bowling figures of 4-12.

Bangladesh replied with 79-2 off 12.3 overs, Sharmin Akhter scloring 36 and Lucy O'Reilly and Ciara Metcalfe taking one wicket apiece.

Ireland begin their World T20 against New Zealand in Mohali on 18 March.

Australia, South Africa and Sri Lanka are their other opponents in Group A.

The Irish lost by 29 runs to India in their first warm-up match in Bangalore on Thursday.
