Leicestershire's County Championship Division Two match with Northamptonshire ended in a draw.
Rain meant play did not get under way until 16:30 BST and the hosts declared on their day two score of 132-6 in a bid to try and force a victory.
Clint McKay bowled Ben Duckett for a two-ball duck, but bad light ended play with Northants on 30-1.
Second-placed Leicestershire took a healthy 11 points from the game, while Northants claimed eight points.
