Jersey beat Guernsey by six wickets with four balls to spare in the first leg of the women's T20 inter-insular.
The Sarnians were put in to bat and scored 93-8 from their 20 overs at College Field.
In reply, Tracey Vallois finished on 31 not out as a youthful Jersey side, without ex-captain Gemma Dunning, reached the target in the final over.
"We controlled the run chase very well, so it was a really good performance," said Jersey coach Elliot Corbel.
Guernsey coach Jason Shambrook commented: "We were a little bit wayward with the extras - I think we bowled 30-odd runs in extras, which was a third of the score.
"If you do that it's very difficult to win games."
The second leg will be played in Guernsey on 23 July.
