@MaksiNorway You seem like a very angry guy. If you cheer up a little bit, maybe you'd enjoy the incredible cricket being played? Perhaps you've got a lot of negative things going on in your life, if so I feel for you and understand why you'd find being confrontational on comment threads cathartic. I hope you're able to look at life a little more positively going forward though. Best of luck mate.
Proctor. I do not generally respond to English hating South Africans ( you made that clear a thousand times before the tournament started ) and all your predictions without the benefit of hindsight have been atrocious, not least your hopes for South Africa who are the laughing stock of the tournament.Racist? for hating a guy who salutes decent human beings after getting them out. Boo hoo hoo.
can this website please explain why they allow a clear case of constant racism from maks of Norway to go on. This bigots offensive posts allowed to carry on then this website may have to be reported l
Can't believe that people are saying he shouldn't have gone for the shot with the number 11 at the other end. He had to go for him and did the right thing in trying to take responsibility in that situation. Right decision, just not quite the right execution. But it was so close, it is harsh to criticise the batsman.
The 100 rank player beats Federer once in a while.Yes Afg almost beat Ind but that doesnt mean Ind C is not superior to Afg A or better than Pk A.It is actually very unfair to deny the 20th best player in India to play even if that man is vastly superior to the best player on Afg or PK or Eng teama
106 You really do have a bizarre take on cricket. I'm not sure you should be letting the cat out of the bag that you are crazy. Australia struggle to put together a decent first team otherwise they probably would have left the cheats out of it. India are not that great. Nearly got done by Afghanistan! You can't have 2 or more teams from one country in an international event, it would not be fair!
I thought this was the best match of the Tournament so Far felt sorry for The Windies especially Brathwaite who was outstanding Kiwis started to get a bit too cocky for my liking but England will have no trouble when playing them especially with Henry bowling he was bowling Buffet Balls
@142In what way was it stupid. He got there playing and hitting that way. Bet you didn't think he was stupid when he hit 3 sixes and 25 in one over.
Must admit I've never been a fan of the 50 over format (though appreciating it kept cricket alive in the 1970s and '80s) but this comp is winning me round. I credit 20/20 with improving both Test and the 50 over game. Just hope Tests can survive.
154. Whale of IZAnd further to what I said in #161, Brathwaite's shot would have won the match, while Moeen's wouldn't. Moeen didn't appreciate the match situation or the conditions, whereas Brathwaite's shot was in consideration of both.
154. Whale of IzCompletely different match situations. Moeen's brain cells exploded while there was still plenty of time left in the match, and still a few handy with the bat left to come in. Brathwaite only had 6 balls left to consider how to get the 6 runs needed, and a true #11 as his only remaining batting partner. Brathwaite's calculated risk was far more reasonable than Moeen's.
