Devon has been selected to host stage five of the 2011 Tour of Britain.
The 180km stage will begin in Exeter, taking in towns across Dartmoor including Tedburn St Mary and Bovey Tracey, before finishing in Exmouth.
Hugh Roberts, chief executive of Tour of Britain said: "We are very pleased to be able to return to Devon in September for a fourth successive year.
"This year the entire stage will be within Devon, allowing spectators along the entire route to embrace it."
He continued: "I look forward to seeing plenty of Devonian flags lining the route come September, making for a memorable and tough stage of the Tour of Britain for some of the world's top riders."
The 2011 Tour of Britain begins in Peebles, Scotland on 11 September, with the finishing stage in London on 18 September.
