Britain's Sir Bradley Wiggins remains 32 seconds behind Tony Martin after the Tour of Switzerland second stage.

The Team Sky rider finished in the main group along with Germany's Martin to stay in 14th place following the opening day time trial.

Australia's Cameron Meyer won the 181.8km ride from Bellinzona to Sarnen.

Wiggins' team-mate Philip Deignan finished second to move up to seventh overall - 27 seconds behind Omega Pharma Quick-Step's Martin.

Wiggins, who claims he will not be taking part in next month's Tour de France, is racing in his first event since he won May's Tour of California.

The race has seven more stages, ending on Sunday, 22 June.
