Ireland men's pusuit team crash out in Guadeloupe
Martyn Irvine was part of the Ireland team which crashed out on the final lap of their men's pursuit qualifier at the European Championships in Guadeloupe.
The former world championship goal medallist from County Down raced alongside Ryan Mullen, Cormac Clarke and Javan Nulty.
The Irish women's team qualified eighth in their pursuit qualifier and they will now race against Italy.
The event is part of the qualification process for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Lydia Boylan, Lauren Creamer, Caroline Ryan and Melanie Spath started well in the women's pursuit, recording the fourth fastest opening kilometre.
They finished 11.93 seconds behind leaders and defending champions Great Britain.
