PDC World Championship runner-up Andy Hamilton will make his Premier League debut in Manchester in February.

The 44-year-old from Dresden joins fellow Stoke-on-Trent players Phil Taylor and Adrian Lewis in the line-up.

Kevin Painter, Raymond van Barneveld, James Wade, Simon Whitlock and defending champion Gary Anderson complete the eight-man field for 2012.

Each competitor plays 14 group matches, with four qualifying for the play-offs at the O2 Arena in London on 17 May.

Painter, who claimed his first major title by winning the Players Championship in December, will also be making his first appearance in the Premier League.

Hamilton reached his first world final at the Alexandra Palace on Monday but was beaten 7-3 by Lewis, who won the title for the second consecutive year.
